Non-Teaching (Education Adviser)
Job functions
Coordinating with other school staff members such as counselors, instructors, and school administrators
Assisting students in selecting schools that best meet their academic and career goals
Providing guidance to students regarding academic majors and programs of study based on their interests and aptitudes.
Helping students apply for scholarships, grants, loans, and other financial aid
Preparing students for the application process by assisting them with completing applications and providing advice about selection criteria for each school
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Education Management, Guidance and Counselling or any other related field. Candidates without the required degree but with sufficient requisite knowledge and verifiable years of experience (5-10 years) are also considered suitable for the role.
Required skills include:
Strong communication skills; critical thinking; organisational skills, sound knowledge of academic and career resources.
