Educational Support Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION
It is expected that you work for 37.5 hours a week and carry out the following duties:
- Assist with the operational processes involved in the organisation of examination arrangements in accordance with College and external Examining Bodies’ policies and guidelines.
- Assisting the Exams Officer and other members of the team with various administrative tasks.
- Management of the preparation and development of assessment briefs and examination papers, in collaboration with faculty.
- Ensure that examination papers and documentation are securely stored as per examination board requirements.
- Coordinates, organizes and schedules the grading process which leads to the production of student grades.
- Set up exam venues as per examination board requirements
- Liaise with the school’s IT team in relation to set up for exams requiring IT.
- Ensure the integrity, security and confidentiality of all student record data held by the section.
- To assist in the annual archiving of paper records, the electronic filing of paper records and general office tasks.
- Maintain accurate student record data which includes the processing of programme/ mode/year transfers, withdrawals and interrupts, course attachments, assessment cohort creation, resit mark entry, rolling progression records and so on.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Candidates desiring this position must possess a Master degree with a minimum of 2 years experience. Candidates with Bachelors degree and at least five years experience in a similar role can also be considered.
